Hi everyone!  
 
We're down to the final piece of production as we work with the manufacturer on approving the slipcase.  Here are some photos of the initial sample, which did not meet our standards in a few places.  
 

The foil stamping was not aligned correctly for the size of the slipcase, and we've already sent revised files to the printer.  They are producing a new sample for us to review ASAP. 
 
All of the other items from this printer are produced and ready to be bundled with the slipcases and shipped out as soon as the slipcases are manufactured.  The manufacturing process should take under a month once the samples are approved and then everything will ship.  We are excited to be on the very last steps before fulfilling your rewards!

Hi everyone!  
 
We are getting closer and closer to having everything finished and starting fulfillment!  Max has received the preliminary copies of the books and had a chance to review them... Here are some of the photos from his set:
Both the Book of Lies and the Collected Volume will contain one red ribbon, as seen above. During the Kickstarter we had intended for the Collected Volume to contain two ribbons, a red and a gold one. However, the book block for the Collected Volume was produced in error with just one ribbon to match the Book of Lies. In the interest of not delaying fulfillment we will not be asking the printer to correct this and feel that it does not significantly affect the end quality of the product.
 
So at this point, we are excited to announce that everything from our overseas manufacturer is completed except for the slipcases that will have to contain all this occulty weirdness.  Our printers have noted some concerns with the foil stamp designs, so we have a sample on the way to Max to triple check that it meets his standards and then those will be produced as well. That is IT as far as the overseas manufacturing goes!

April 2026 - Manufacturing Status (Big News!!!)

Hi everyone!  
We are very excited to announce that the Abyss of Hallucinations Collected Edition and The Book of Lies have all been printed and are ready to be shipped to the warehouse as soon as the rest of the items at the same printer are completed - and we have pictures!!!
 
Max is chomping at the bit to get his hands on them, so we've had the printer air freight a few copies to him...  Keep an eye out for his unboxing video when he receives them!

Book cover sneak peek!

I knew when I designed the covers for Book of Lies and Abyss of Hallucinations that it would be fairly demanding for foil stamping.  There were some concerns from the printer about their ability to pull it off, but we decided to go ahead and have them set up the stamps, make a couple of covers, and send them over to see how they turned out.

And they turned out phenomenal!  I've done a bit of foil stamping when I was doing more bookbinding, so I had a pretty good sense of how the foil would handle, also knowing it wouldn't be perfect.  One of the things I love about this is that if you really dig in and scan closely, you can find subtle distortions, odd marks, and slight shifts in registration, but all of it is so well done. This captures that bit of wabi sabi that I love, while still looking intentional with an eye for detail.  

So, I am absolutely in love with how the covers turned out.  Here's a video:

5-Panel GM Screen - We're currently in discussions with the printers to determine the best method for applying the metallic gold effect on top of full-color printing.

Coin of Wheel and Woa! - The coin itself is perfect, but the embroidery on the sample bag was off-center, which the manufacturer is correcting now.

Slipcase - This wasn't included last time because we were waiting for the final measurements of the spine thickness from the printer!  That measurement is dependent on the final thicknesses of the materials to be contained.
